SARAH SONGALIA, CPA

Ms. Sarah Saavedra-Songalia started her professional career even during her college days at University of the Philippines Tacloban Campus working part time for the Commission On Audit and the Social Security System. Her formal introduction to the world of accounting started when she worked with Sycip, Gorres and Velayo, the country’s premier accounting firm. She worked with the Audit, Consulting and Outsourcing departments. Now, she has her own accounting firm known as Saavedra Songalia and Associates where they offer Business Process Outsourcing Services and Business Support Services both for local and international clients. Sarah still does consulting work on the side primarily providing companies better solutions for a more effective and efficient accounting department. A consistent Presidential Scholar in College and an honor student all the way from elementary, a civic worker, and a woman with a pure heart, Ms. Sarah Songalia advocates to make a change in the way accounting is perceived by many by making the subject matter friendly to all those who need it, thus, the birth of Entrepreneurs Accounting Academy.

JOHN XAVIER S. CHAVEZ, MFM

Mr. John Xavier S. Chavez graduated at Ateneo de Manila University with a Degree in Management major in Legal Management. He earned his Masters Degree on Financial Management at the Australian National University at Canberra, Australia. He is currently a trainor at Career Core Development Services and a professor at Mapua Institute of Technology. He also conduct business consulting to different organizations.

Mr. John Xavier S. Chavez carries with him more than ten (10) years of experience in the fields of academic learning, training and organizational development, banking and finance, credit administration and collections, policy formulation, risk management and marketing.

DENNIS B. DE SILVA

Mr. Dennis B. de Silva is a Certified Public Accountant earning his second degree course in the field of Accountancy from the San Beda College – Manila. He graduated with academic distinction (silver medalist) and was granted the PricewaterhouseCoopers Award of Excellence. He was acknowledged for ground breaking efforts in driving management change resulting to organization effectiveness and propels cost efficiency.

Dennis was assigned to Australia, Greece, Mexico and other Asian countries to manage outsourcing projects in line with accounting operations. Dennis is currently the General Accounting Manager of Financial Accounting and Taxation of AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals Philippines Inc.

He has been involved with different multinational companies such as Deutsche Bank, Nestle and Maersk Shipping where he played major roles in key areas in finance focusing on strategic planning, project management, business process reengineering, internal control framework and staff development.
